"We moved down from Illinois just after we were married thirty years ago to open up Mr. Dunderbak's in Daytona Beach. It was originally a family business with Ted's mom and dad, sister and brother. Ted's parents have since passed away. His sister, Judy, runs Wicks 'N' Sticks here in the Mall and his brother, Glen, left the business to pursue his own adventures.

"We have two daughters, Jen and Courtney, who still help in the restaurant during especially busy times.

"We enjoy working with the public and working side by side. We feel Mr. Dunderbak's is an extension of our family and we hope that feeling comes across to our customers when they walk through the door."

Manager: Debbie "Richie" Robidoux

"I'm single with two great boys ... Vince and Dylan and I've worked at Mr. Dunderbak's ever since I moved to Daytona from Indianapolis in 1975 (Go Colts!)

"I've seen a lot of co-workers come and co but I'd say 75% keep in touch. I love making great friends .. customers and co-workers ... and having the Teschners treat you like part of their family."

I'm single and have one child, Chelsey, but in a relationship. I've been with Mr. Dunderbak's since October 8, 2002. I moved here in July 1991 from Massachusetts (Go Patriots!)

"I was born in North Carolina but raised in Daytona since before I can remember. Now I'm raising two kids of my own, Emily and Eric. I've been part of the crew here since '98. My favorite thing about being here is that it feels like one big family. I enjoy being a server because I get to meet new and interesting people every day."

Manager/Server: Jason Budde

"I was born in Virginia but moved around a lot and I have strong family roots in Massachusetts. (Go Red Sox!!) I moved to Port Orange in '88 so I guess this is home. Just got married last December and I have never been happier. I've worked at Mr. Dunderbak's off and on since 1995. It's always been the best job I ever had so I came back for good. I'm not a manager/server and the best part is the diversity that it offers, plus the Teschners are great people to work for."

Manager/Server: Rob Pugh ... aka "Rolo"

"I was born in Ohio but have been in Daytona long enough to be local. I'm married to Jan, who works at Billy's Tap Room. My first day on the job was December 24, 1979. I've been around so long a lot of the customers think I own the place. In my spare time I like boating, biking and camping. Good beer and friends ... What a job!"

Server: Bonnie Rossi

"I'm a transplant from Rhode Island with two children Lena and Jacob. I've been at Mr. D's since December 2002. It's a fun place to work and I love that customers keep coming back to visit. Being treated like family is a real plus!"

Server/Musician: Matt Meehan ... aka "Flanders"

"On Wednesday nights I trade my apron for a guitar and entertain folks from 5:30 till 9:30 PM. I'm originally from Alabama but I've been around for six or seven years and I tell the Teschners 'I'm only here for the office party.' "

Deli Clerk: Brandon Dunaway

"I'm from Daytona Beach in a committed relationship. I've been employed since January 2003. The sights from the Deli angle are the best thing, and the making friends and the pay check. Duh!"

Sandwish-maker Chris Buster ... aka Ceelow

Transplant but really, pick a state, I've been all over. This is the second time I've been employed at Mr. Dunderbak's. I thought about a change but came back to a place that treats me good.

Server: Darby Neal

"My homestate is Indiana. I've worked here for five years between September and February but I take the summer off to work at the beach. I have a five year relationship with Jared. My sister, Brooke, and my mom, Cindy, and my uncle, Greg, have all worked here in the past. I love having a job that allows me to come and go!"

Manager: Jen Miller

"I started out as a seasonal worker four years ago but I liked it so much I stayed. I'm originally from Illinois but this is home now. One day soon my boyfriend, Jason, and I would like to move to Costa Rica and live an adventurous life. My favorite thing about working here is sampling all the unique beers and working with all my crazy co-workers."
